Where to start? I love travelling, being outdoors and I am a Christmas enthusiast. If I were an emoji, I'd be the dancing lady in the red dress. I loooooove to chat, eat amazing food and I think costume parties are the greatest. Yes, I'm THAT person.
I became a celebrant around the time I got married myself. I was attending friend's weddings almost monthly at that stage of my life and while they were all beautiful, I'd often walk away thinking the actual ceremony left a lot to be desired. Some dragged on, some were overly serious while others were quite obviously a script in which the couple's names had just been substituted in. Many ceremonies I attended just didn't seem to reflect the couple getting married at all. I couldn't help but feel I could offer something better as a celebrant; a truly personalised service that was just as much about celebration as it was the legalities.
While you'll often find me at a wedding on the weekends, during the week you'll find me in a boardroom. I have worked in senior corporate roles for many years giving me plenty of experience presenting to large groups, managing people and diffusing stressful situations. But this is relevant for a reason far far more important than transferrable skills. For me, being a celebrant isn't my job. It's my passion. I do it because I love it.
Someone once described me as a 'breath of fresh air,' which I thought was a wonderful compliment. This is the impression I want to leave on my clients and their wedding guests as a celebrant; energetic, passionate, and personable. I love working with couples to create a memorable wedding ceremony that is unrecognisably about them. I love helping people craft a day they will remember forever.
I am based in Caringbah South, within the Sutherland Shire, Sydney. I regularly perform ceremonies around the Sutherland Shire, Sydney's Eastern suburbs and Northern beaches, Sydney CBD, Illawarra & Shoalhaven districts and the Southern Highlands.
